Tzannes Architects

Tzannes Architects use an integrated approach to environmentally responsible architecture, looking at the holistic performance of the full life cycle of the project.

We have worked with Tzannes to provide a way to measure this performance.

Dangrove Art Storage Facility

The Dangrove Art Facility was planned to house a number of notable art collections and required precise temperature/humidity control, high fire ratings and a sleek aesthetic. Additionally the client required 100 years building life and low environmental footprint.

  • We used our Multi-Use Calculator¬†to identify key areas of the design which could be optimised and the benefit of specifying a 100 year life of materials.
  • The initiatives identified reduced the capital carbon footprint by ~ 2,200 TCO2 and reduced operating carbon emissions by ~ 900 TCO2 each year.

The project would lead Tzannes to further consider the environmental effects of their designs.
